Hi everyone, I've been looking around the forums for a while but this is my first post!
A few months back, I bought this HP laptop from newegg (dv4-1220us). At first, sometimes, when I plugged in the laptop, the screen backlight would go black until I closed and opened the lid. This happened for a few months and then the backlight died completely and when I opened the lid it would flicker and just turn off.
I sent it in for repairs, because it is under warranty, and they apparently replaced the screen (which is great, since it also had a few dead pixels). It worked fine, but now, every once in a while, when I plug it in after using it on battery, the backlight turns off again  , and I'm just wondering if it is going to die on me again. This is extremely frustrating and I just can't keep sending it in to get it fixes (mainly because I live in another country).
Could anyone give me any advice? If possible, I'd like to have them replace it completely or a best case scenario would be demanding a refund!
Any help would be appreciated. :D

    Thanks in advance,
    Nick
