Hi, I just did a clean install of XP from Vista on a dv6227cl notebook and I've been having a problem with ethernet connectivity. The wireless will work fine but I don't have a wireless setup in the house and I need the ethernet working. I've installed all sorts of drivers off of the HP website but no luck. The audio device isn't detected either. Can anyone help? A side note, can anyone point me to XP drivers for the Geforce Go 6150? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is your Ethernet card recognized in Windows' device manager?

Install the HP update manager and it will download all that stuff for you. If its available for xp
Alternatively you can go the brands website and look for their drivers there
You can use www.laptopvideo2go.com 's performance video drivers -
Alright I got it working with an Nvidia nForce pack. But I still haven't found a driver for the sound that will work. Any suggestions?

I don't see any audio drivers on the HP website under "Windows XP" - go to the audio manufacturer's website.
Someone had a similar problem on this other site - they give some solutions there:
