    Help with logging into windows account?!

    Help! i cannot log into my account on my notebook, everytime i type in the correct password, it just says the password is incorrect or whatever. My password is an all numbers one and caps lock was off. Before i right clicked on the bit where u type ur password, and checked out the right to left option, but i put it back to normal. Im on the guest account now, so i cant even change anything. Help! i just need to be able to take the password off or just get into my account. Thanks

    [Btw, not sure where else i shudda posted this, so hope in Hp was alright seeing as my nb is HP.]

    try this:

    Reboot PC and press F8 till you see the windows start-up option
    Use the arrow keys to select safe mode
    press enter
    when you see the administrator screen, select the administrator account (a hidden account that by default needs no password)
    Follow steps thru control panel to reset the password for the account with the forgotten password
