I continue to stuggle with why I am having difficulties running multiple monitors with my cq60-615dx laptop and running a specific stock trading application. Here is the setup: I have 3 22" Sharp Tv/monitors to use for stock trading. One monitor is hooked into the VGA input of the laptop. Another monitor is using the Iogear Guc-2015v external video adapter plugged into one of the USB ports. I still need to purchase another external video adapter for the 3rd monitor. I can get the two external monitors to work with one of them cloned to the built in laptop monitor but every time I try extending the screens with my scottrade account, the scottrade application shuts down. I discussed this with scottrade but all is good on their end and it appears to be my laptop or external video adapter (which I tried a different version and had the same problem). Is there a problem with the VGA input and the Iogear to USBconnection that would cause the program to shut down? Also, is there a way to use the external monitors only with the laptop monitor shut off? I have tried many different configurations to no avail. Any help at this point is greatly apreciated. Thanks.
