Hi there, I used mujjuman's stickied guide to installing windows xp on a HP dv6700 and everything went perfectly except I can't connect to any wireless connections. The driver I'm sure is the right one and I can see available networks to connect to but it never can connect.

There is always an error saying something along the lines of "The wireless connection is out of range or too low a signal" but this is when I have the computer right next to the router and the windows wireless manager shows it as having full signal. I'm really confused so any help would be appreciated.

Also, I am not the most knowledgeable when it comes to computers, I just know enough to get by so please don't use any unnecessary techno-babble if thats possible otherwise it will just add to the headache caused by the computer.

    Cheers

That's what I thought except it worked fine on Vista, and two other laptops I tried both were able to connect? Any ideas?
