    Hi everyone,
I'm new and this is my very first post. I tried searching this forum regarding the subject with no luck, so by any chance if you've heard this before, please excuse my ignorance.

My laptop (ZD7230US) was purchased in late 2004 and now the *nVidia GeForce FX Go5700* video chip/card is fried and I was wondering if there is an alternative solution to help restore back to its native 1440x900 resolution (17" screen). I was told by a friend that maybe purchasing a pcmcia type video card might help. Is there such an option and if so, is it compatible with this unit?
Currently, I am forced to run on 1024x768 with annoying pink vertical lines and on top of that, the memory seemed to be very slow when I'm scrolling the screen. Also, the graphics are stretched and fuzzy.

The short answer is no. That's also the long answer.
