    Hi all, Newbie here.

My C762NR takes for ever to start up. It's driving me crazy! I only use it for internet and docs here and there. Any way to get it to boot up quicker?

How long have you had it, did it do this from the very first time you booted it up or have you done anything such as add or remove any programs?

Hit the Start button, then start typing msconfig and then hit enter.

Then go to Startup tab at the top.

    Then hit Disable all.

Then click the check box next to the programs you would like to be on your startup.

If you are not sure, you can post a screenshot.

Thanks for the tip! I have 26 things checked.

I am not sure which are critical to have checked on start up. Any suggestions?

Well just uncheck the programs you don't want to run at startup. Post a screenshot so that I can see all 26 of them.

The reason why It takes forever to boot up because apparently you have to many programs on start up. Uncheck the programs you don't want. Make sure you know which program it is before you uncheck them. If you don't know which ones you can disable, post a list here.
