    I have just got a Pavillion laptop with Vista and during set up I ticked the on screen keyboard .....now the 'proper' keyboard does not respond but I can't figure out how to change it back!!!

    You can tick it off by doing this:

    Start > All Programs > Accessories > Accessibilty > On-Screen Keyboard

    Thanks but all that happens when I do that is the screen keyboard come on, I cannot switch it off and my only option seems to be delete!!
    Any suggestions please?

    Try Control Panel > Ease of Access . Its bound to be there somewhere
