My laptop just got shipped today. I heard its strongly recommended to make a recovery disk before you do anything so how do i make one? I not that strong with computers so i welcome any constructive criticism so bear with me :) . I spent $1300 Dollars customizing it, so i think its worth it to create recovery disks. So how? Also what is the benefit of creating a recovery disk? Doesn't it come in the laptop?

As always thanks for the help Guys.

Most computers do not come with a disk anymore so you need to burn your own disks.Mine were DVD+R and took 8 disks. I have the DV7 4295.
Go to start and type in recovery disks and click on recovery media creation and follow the Instructions.

    I hope this helps. :)
