    How Do I update my 6770?

    Ok saw somewhere in this forum that there 11.7 drivers for the dgpu and I have no idea how to get them or even install them. So can somebody please hlep me with this?

    Also, are there any other drivers or anything else that needs updating? I am kinda a noob when it comes to computers.

    Thanks a ton! Im sure you guys probly hate these posts...

    Nobody hates posts, you post to get help.

    Is this the mobile GPU? I'm guessing it is. Also what operating system are you running.

    Anyway download catalyst control center.
    (Just google it you should find it)

    and update your drivers using that

    yeah its the mobile GPU. I have a dv6t 6100 laptop. Its running windows 7.

    I edited the last post check that one. If you need more specific help tell me, and don't forget to make sure you download the correct program for your operating system 32/64 bit but I'm not sure if that matters for catalyst.

    OK so i downloaded it but im pretty sure my computer shipped with that software pre installed because i have used it before i downloaded it ha. ANyways... where do i go within CCC to update the drivers?

    Don't update through CCC - it will not work - it'll say that it's not compatible w/ our hardware config.

    If you are looking to download 11.7b drivers, download here [email protected]

    You need to install them over your current drivers (do NOT uninstall the stock drivers your system shipped with).
