Sorry if this is an obvious question, but how do you record sound with the built in microphones? More specifically, what programs can you use? I tried the Sound Recorder program built into Windows but there's a recording limit on that so I'm assuming there's a better program to carry out this function.

    Thanks in advance.

For basic recording an almost essential, and very very useful program is called Audacity. Go to http://audacity.sourceforge.net for more details... oh and its free!
