    I using a dv6500t and I want to enable my wireless internet without having to also enable bluetooth.
    how can i do this without having to install hp wireless assisstance? i want to get rid of bluetooth so that its not running while i have wireless on while im on battery... because bluetooth kills my battery...!!!

    go to your device manager and disable the bluetooth device. I know it might be a pain doing it everytime but its the only way as far as i know without installing HP assist
