I have the dv7t-6000 and noticed that my 640GB 7,200 rpm drive is partitioned into four logical drives:

    C: SYSTEM 199MB (NTFS)
    D: [NO LABEL] 579GB (NTFS)
    E: RECOVERY 16.9GB (NTFS)
    F: HP_TOOLS 103MB (FAT32)

Now that I have a relatively fresh install, I want to create an image of my hard drive and have a few questions for those who have already done this.

    1. What program did you use? I'm considering Clonezilla or Paragon.
    2. Did you image all four logical drives or just C: and/or D:?
    3. What is HP_TOOLS?

    Thanks in advance!

My dv6tqe-6000 only has the three logical partitions, "System, Recovery and HP Tools". All on one 160gig SSD. I use HP's USB 3.0 1TB Portable HDD for backups and storage. Purchased a license for Paragon and hid the HP Tools partiton. Still works. I just do not want to see it in Windows.
