    Hello, new user here.

I recently got a Compaq V2750NR. It comes with wireless but no bluetooth. Is there anyway to add factory bluetooth? I don't want a USB or PCMCIA dongle.

Is there a WiFi/bluetooth card that will work? Can I add the factory option?

    Thanks!

Well you may have to email or call Compaq about that. There are bluetooth/wifi combination cards that exist, but I'm not sure if you can use the same antenna connection. It all depends on the motherboard. Your best bet is to contact Compaq because they know the motherboard and its upgrade options.

But I'm sure that your only option will be that you have to get that external bluetooth dongle.

Last I knew HP/Compaq was using internal USB modules for Bluetooth. Your notebook may or may not have the antenna lead that plugs into that module. See the service guide for your notebook for details on how to do the upgrade and HP Partsurfer for the module (if they'll sell it to you at all). A web/eBay search on the part # might find a cheaper supplier. I can't recall anyone who's successfully completed the upgrade.

I looked at the service manual and it doesn't show the bluetooth module.

It lists two part numbers but that's it.

I was hoping someone here had done the upgrade.

You should call Compaq to see if the upgrade is possible.

Be specific and ask if its possible to add a combination wireless & bluetooth card and have both wireless and bluetooth functionality.
