I'm selling my laptop, so I want to re-install Windows Vista (I am currently using Windows 7) for the next person and I want it for their archiving purposes. The problem is, the last time I sent it in for warranty, the windows product key sticker wasn't moved to my new laptop. What do I do? Called HP. Talked to 3 people. No help.

If you have the Vista recovery disks, re-image the drive. Then, you can use ABR (activation back up and restore) to get the product key. Give the ABR program and output files to the next person as well as instructions on how to use it.
See this thread for how to use ABR:

I'll try that. Thanks 2.0. <3
