Recently, HP released 2 version of an ultra-portable laptop: the DM3Z and DM3T
The difference between these two versions are the platform they run on. While the DM3Z uses AMD CPUs paired with integrated or discreet ATI graphics, the DM3T runs using Intel processors with integrated or discreet graphics from Intel or Nvidia.
An interesting comparison would be the overall SYSTEMS performance of two particular models that are probably most comparable in terms of specs and price:
1.) DM3Z with AMD Neo X2 L625 w/ ATI 4330 same system memory, HD space and other specs.
2.) DM3T with Intel SU7300 w/ Nvidia G 105 M with identical specs otherwise (mem and HD space wise)
Does anyone have or will anyone have either of those systems? Some benchmarking tests that address different uses such as office productivity and web surfing, gaming, HD movie watching, encoding etc., and of course battery life under all of the above situations would be really nice as I have searched the internet and not found any direct comparisons as of yet.
I suggest that different people with DM3Z/DM3T provide their specs and benchmarks here. If you are not used to benchmarking, one of the simplest "benchmarks" is W7 built in "Experience Indicator". You could start by posting a screen shot of that here.
In a few days, I will receive a DM3Z myself and will share with everyone what the stats are. Till then, I would be interested to read what others have.

I'm thinking about ordering the DM3T with the nVidia discreet card.
According to Notebookcheck.com, the ATi (ATi 4330) is faster than the nVidia card (nVidia GeForce 105).
Once I get it, I'll update on how the performance goes. There's also a few youtube clips of people playing CoD:MW2 on the nVidia card. Not the same system, but it's showing off the video card.
How do AMD Neo X2 L625 w/ ATI 4330 HD perform vs Intel SU7300 w/ Nvidia G 105 M?
