Hi, my laptop temps are pretty high, i was wondering if vacuuming the outside of the vents would help, or do i have to open up my laptop and vacuum it.

I would just vacuum it. Get the wand and put it on the vent and create a seal with your hand around it and just suck the heck out of it. Oh and also block the other exhaust vent to create a vacuum inside to make sure you get everything out of there.

Id go with compressed air, a vacuum probably wont really move anything and it has a tendency to build up static and thats bad.

Of course you want to try to use a vacuum because it will pull stuff out and you dont want to blow it in, but try to see if you can open your laptop to get inside of it some to blow it out instead.

The problem with compressed air is, it just blows all that dust on the inside, which can be bad after awhile. It's really best to just vacuum it.
