I want to disable Ctrl+Shift+S, which opens HP's System Information window. I know it's not Windows' 'coz I didn't have a problem when I had a clean installation, but since I just used HP's recovery CDs, now I'm stuck with that stupid"feature". I called HP and the representative said that keystrokes couldn't be disabled but it turned out he didn't even understand me and make that up, apparently.
Is there a way I can delete certain key combinations from the Reg Editor or something like that. I wish I had done a clean installation but now I don't really have the time to do it. Thanks.

I don't think it has anything to do with the registry. Try disabling some background processes.

I hated that. Mine stopped doing it just recently, I think due to a software update or something.
How do I disable certain (or all) HP's keystrokes?
