I mean, I'm at a complete loss. The feature itself makes absolutely no sense. Why would I want my buttons to be touch sensitive? When I attempt to actually do what they're meant for, CLICKING, the cursor is moved off of my target. Then in games, where I need to both click and move the mouse at the same time, they are fighting each other to move in opposite directions. It's completely useless as it is. Am I missing something? Is there some voodoo trick that will allow me to do what every other laptop has been able to do for 20 years?

If not, is there some way to disable the touch sensitivity of the buttons, but NOT the entire trackpad?

    Thanks!

    no.

supposedly there's a deadzone on the buttons.

I know for the envy14 it's more like halfway between the bottom of the trackpad and the line for the buttons (and the mouse still gets triggered pretty easily)

why is it designed this way? what's the benefit? I don't understand how it is supposed to be used without causing an aneurysm.
