hey everyone, so i bought this new HP Pavilion dv6500t notebook, and it's fine and all, but im using it mainly for gaming, and Vista is a memory vacuum, so I'm trying to go back to XP. I've been reading other posts and it sounds like most people are going through similar problems like me, when booting the XP disc from restart, it tells you that it can't recognize any hard disc and that it cannot proceed. Sounds like it general knowledge that this has a lot to do with SATA drivers. I dont know if most of you share the same problem as me, but if i go to the bios page, there is nothing in there about SATA. So I guess i need to download the drivers, put em on a CD and then boot that when i begin XP installation. Any of you guys know where I can get the proper drivers for SATA. and plz if you could explain what I need to do once I get the drivers on a CD, where do i go from there? And also, plz tell me what I do about other drivers. When I get XP on my notebook, im not gonna have any drivers for anything, my motherboard, video card, wireless card, any of that :( fill me in on wat i need to do, thx :D
