    How do I register my Envy 17?

    Sorry for the simple question... but I installed a new SSD and installed the OS from the Recovery Disks (Minimal Install). I have the SwSetup folder saved to my second drive, so I'm hoping what I need to install is in there.

    I was also wanting to install the Stardock Theme that came with the system, but it is asking for a serial number. Anyone know where to get that?

    Well, I think I figured this out.

    Simply go to hp.com (I was already registered there) and in your Account you can "Register a Product". I was able to enter my serial and register the 17-2070NR.

    After registering, I was able to go to " Software & Driver Downloads". There is a list of software downloads.

    Found one labeled " Stardock MyColors Notebook Desktop Themes" and installed that. It wasn't the same Envy Theme that came in the original configuration, but instead the Beats Theme.
