    I have been locked out of laptop by my niece she ahs appaerntly put pass word on somehow and i cant even get start menu up. what can i do? :confused:

    If it were password protected you would not see the desktop, please explain your situation better.

    Do you mean the Windows Start Menu is not popping up even if you hit the menu key?
