I have a 4 year old Compaq Presario R4065 which was working fine until I saw a BIOS upgrade to version F.1C on the hp support pages and installed it through the download. However now my CD rom doesnt function correctly. It shows up in the BIOS and in Windows but doesnt read anything it just thinks the drive has no disc inside.
I cant find any site that has the firmware for phoenix BIOS. Can anyone give me some suggestions?
