    How do I use the webcam on my dv9000t?

    I've spent the last hour setting up my new 9000t. So far so good except for one thing, I don't see how to turn on the webcam. It's physically there on top of the display but I see no listing under the start menu or programs to turn it on. Am I missing something? The display itself is beautiful!

    i posted and have the same problem but i have a dv2000z. if you hear anything let me know and vice versa.

    I think you have XP with this lappy.
    Go to Mycomputer and you'll find HP Webcam
    If you are running under Vista you can use it with QuickPlay or MSN.

    Yes I can use the webcam within Quickplay, thanks.

    You can also hit start>all programs>hp pavilion webcam
    or: start>my computer>scanners and cameras (at bottom)>double click on hp pavilion webcam

    Nope, cannot do it either way. It only works within the QuickPlay software for some reason.
