Hi all, this is my first post on the forum, and I could do with some advice, please.

Right then, 2 months ago, I bought an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC, it's from the DV6000 series, and is the DV6331eu model according to the sticker underneath it, it has Windows Vista home basic installed on it.

The problem I am getting is this, when I use the built in webcam to record something, like my sons birthday recently, after recording, I was going to burn the video to disk to send it to his granny overseas, problem is, the video works fine, except there is no sound on the video, I have checked the internal microphones and they are all set up correctly and hearing sound.

If I go to the sound recorder now and talk, it records it perfectly, but when the webcam is recording, there is no sound on the finished video, I'm assuming it should record the audio as well as the video, right?

Does anyone know how to fix it so that sound is on any video I record with the built in webcam? Thanks in advance for any advice!

Which application were you using to record the video? You may have been using an application that only records video.

Thanks for the reply, ATR90, I'm not sure what you mean by which application I was using, all I can tell you is, when recording the video, I clicked the Quickplay button near the start button on the laptop, then double clicked the HP Webcam button on the left menu in Quickplay, if that's any help?
