    I've got the setting maxed, but is there anyway to speed up the cursor? Is an app needed or something? Thanks

    If you have already maxed out the settings in Windows Vista, then you may be able to change it in the application for the touchpad, if that is what you are using. The program is normally accessible from an icon, that sits near the time. From there, you should be able to go to the settings, and change it. Hope this helps.

    Thanks for the reply. However, I don't see such an options within the synaptics settings.
