    or is there a new Elite book coming out soon ? I ask because I am going to be replacing my 8510 soon , and think it was well built , solid . Want something as well built to replace , so Envy or Elite ?

    Elitebook > Envy in BQ. In Q1 2010, the new 8540p/w will most likely come out.

    If the envy is not as well built as the Elite no purpose spending big $$$$ ,
    guess Ill wait for 8540 then , if I could upgrade the vid card I could meke it another year , the cpu x-9000 is fine , but the hd 2600 can;t keep up
