Just wondering if I could read some opinions on the (relatively new) ze200t, with the P-M 1.73 ghz chip. I know it's integrated graphics, but I also think that helps battery life a bit (isn't that right?).
Anyone know how zippy this model is? Maybe compare it to some other HPs? Thanks.

I bought one a few weeks ago with the 1.6 mhz chip. It is pretty fast. I was concerned that the 4200 rpm HD would slow it down but I have not had any issues in that regard. I also have run some pretty intense graphics rendering software and it has not had any issues/sluggishness. I would reccommend getting at least the 512 x 1 RAM stick so you can upgrade later.
My only complaint is that the lower left hand side of the keyboard doesn't seem to be set properly so the arrow keys sink and make a funky clicking sound when I push on them...but it isn't a big enough deal to send it back to them for repair. -

Check out the ze2000z. Much better ATI shared memory GPU, 64-bit capable AMD Turion CPU, and probably cheaper.

I have a similar issue with my new CPQ's keyboard...around the space bar, etc....But, I couldn't live without my system for 2-5 business days.
How good/fast is the ze2000t?
