This is the only issue I'm having trouble getting resolved before I finally decide to order one.
I'm getting answers from different sources that put it between 6.09 and 6.6 lbs, but I'm really hoping it's not too bulky and, instead, comparable in weight to my current Dell Inspiron 6400, which is about 6.2 lbs. Moreover, some pictures on HP's website make it look lightweight, while others from certain reviews make it look very heavy. Those reviews, however, are analyzing the 6000 z, not "t". Is there a significant difference?
Anyway, I want to take this laptop to class to take notes, but I'm slightly wary if it's going to be over the weight of my current laptop, which I feel is the ideal weight for traveling with one that has a 15.4 inch screen.
Any advice?

From HPshopping.com's info on the dv6000 t:
"Sleek look, simple controls
The dv6000t shows off HP's classy new notebook design with glossy, black resin finish and wave pattern, plus latch-free closure. In addition, you can control the volume and launch buttons on this 6.1 lb. notebook simply by tapping or swiping your finger across a strip on the keyboard."
I guess the Intel model is lighter than the AMD model. -
.. the above, and I would like to point out to the OP the fiqures you stated are not far off from each other.
Different weights may be an optional battery... Or maybe one review fiquring in the weight of the A/C brick. (which btw on the HP these days is very small)
How heavy is the dv6000t?
