Is it better than the 15's?

they fixed the pad in the 15's with driver updates, its not as bad as all the reviews say it is anymore. also synaptics redid the hardware making it better, like a hingeless design or something so that you can click anywhere, but we don't know if the first generation of 14's will have the new hardware for the pad in it or if its still using the old pad hardware. have to wait for reviews or feedback from owners to see.

I imagine it's the same as an updated 15. It will be interesting to see because I think the 15s is extremely poor.

Someone just came up with a fix that was my biggest issue with the clickpad..

You go to the Synaptics settings and you enable zones, and simple disable the zone of the touchpad you'll use to click, so the cursor won't move when you try to click.
