    How long before HP updates it's Nc/Nx line?

    How long has the NC8430 been out and does anyone have an idea of when the next installments of the a new HP business class notebook will come out?

    I am very interrested in the nc8430 but like to work outside during the summer and am worried the screen is not bright enough at 175 nits. This seems to be have a general complaint about the nc line so I am assuming Hp will fix this with their next installments of business laptops...

    They probably will not update them for a little while...the nc8430 has been out for probably about 6 months or so. I'm guessing they'll wait until DX10, Santa Rosa, and workstation DX10 cards to come out.

    I'm also relatively certain they'll take their time gearing the series up for Vista...I'm estimating that it will probably take another 4-6 months.
