I know they JUST got the laptop back today, but what time frame should I be looking at?

    another premium machine returned....

I'd start worrying at around 30 days. If you want to bug HP do it first through the case manager assigned to your support case and then your credit card company.

I got it about 3-5 day after they got the laptop bank and I spoke to them on the phone. Surprisingly quick.

I got the refund as soon as I shipped the defective one back! I didn't even have to wait for them to receive it first. So... its pretty quick in this department.

Thanks guys. Maybe when the ENVY 14 drops I'll give it a shot, hopefully the trackpad wont me off, if it was going to be used at a desk more I would have kept it. Great machine.

I've returned two computers now in the last few months. The first one, I did not get the refund for almost three weeks. I called a couple times and they just told me it would show up. It eventually did, but I was beginning to get a bit nervous.

The second one I returned, I got the refund in about two days. So from my experience I'd say anywhere from two days to three weeks. You just never know, unfortunately.
