I recently ordered a notebook (Compaq V2000) on the 20th of September, and the estimated ship date says October 4th. I just wanted to know, since many people here have had their systems configured online, if this is a realistic date, or if in reality it's much quicker/longer. (I want it now!!!) :)

    Thanks!

I ordered my zv5000z on Sept. 8th, with an estimated ship date of Sept. 17th.
It was finished on the 15th, and shipped on the 16th.

    Cheers,

    Stevo

Never mind, I read some of the horror stories about 10-14 pages back. Sounds like people either get them early or horrendously late. I have some hope for the V2000, as people on other forums have ordered them and gotten it quickly.
