    How long does it take for an hp laptop to arrive?

    Hey guys ordered an Hp dv6t quad edition and i was wondering how long it would take to arrive. I ordered the standard 5-7 day shipping and it said that fed ex picked it up on april 19 7:41 pm and the estimated delivery is april
    25th. i was just wondering if it arrives earlier than that or are their ship dates pretty accurate... thanks for the responses :)

    thats pretty good for a grand...Be prepared for fingerprints and scratches. Try to prevent them from the start...

    Yeah i thought so to for the price, and any tips to prevent the scratches and stuff? does this laptop run hot? (im assuming you have it) because i am thinking about buying a cooling pad but i dont know if i should throw down an extra 30 dollars for it because i am going to be using this for gaming for arma 2 oa and games like that.

    Sometimes it takes two days just to clear customs. You should get it by the date they said though.

    They should've given you some kinda tracking number to know where it is at? Maybe you should contact them back and ask for that number.....

    Its been rock solid for me for the last 9 months. I dont do much gaming but it does get a little hot when i reencode blu-rays. Nothing major though.
