    Hey guys.

I just bought a new laptop and im following the instructions on how to do a clean vista install. I'm trying to burn my recovery cd's, but I'm not sure if its working.

When i went to recovery manager > advanced options > create recovery cd's, it justarted to "create files", but didn't prompt me for a dvd. The computer has been stuck on "50%" on creating files for like the past 10 minutes, and im wondering if its not working or something. I checked task manager and it says its still operational so im not sure..

Did it take this long to even create the files for you guys?

It took a long time on mine. It seemed like an hour to gather files, an hour to write them and another hour to verify the written disc (and I used a single DVD+R DL). Very slow process..........
