    How long to get Envy 14 once it is available for order?

    I called HP today to ask some questions about the Envy 14. They would not commit to the 27th release date. How long from time of order (once its on their site) to acutally get the envy 14?

    I'd err on the side of caution and say it'll be 'bout a month more than the few weeks (which may be the standard for stuff if bad things happen but there's no demand)

    It is a much anticipated notebook. Hopefully HP realizes this and is stocked up on parts. Lead times could go through the roof if there is a shortage on any one item. I'd be happy if they could get them out within 3 weeks at launch but as another poster said...if it is anything like the 17 then let the waiting begin.

    As others have said I would guess 3 weeks at least, and would plan for more than that. The envy 17's have been pretty slow getting to buyers, and the amazon pre-configured systems aren't even available yet.

    On a side note, there are starting to be too many Envy threads on the mainpage : ( This would be better asked under the main "Envy 14: Availability etc". Its staring to feel a bit cluttered with every question getting its own message (battery, gaming potential, shipping, etc).
