How much RAM do I need to efficiently run Office apps, Frontpage, web, e-mail and do some light video editing? If I had to choose between additional RAM (above 512k) of a faster hard drive what would be the most beneficial?

For sure get the 7200 60GB drive and 512mb ram, that will give the best performance no doubt.
