How soon do you have to call hp to cancel your laptop order? And do you have to give them a reason why? I really don't want my dv5t which i ordered 2 days ago. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

If it was only 2 days ago, I doubt if it has already shipped, so you should not have any trouble cancelling, but do it as soon as possible and make sure you get an E-mail verification of cancelation for your records. I think any plausible excuse would suffice.

They generally ask why you're cancelling and just make note from a customer service perspective...it's not like you need their permission to cancel the order.

However, might want to be really sure it's what you want before you order next time.

Call ASAP, or the laptop may ship and then you will be charged for it.
