Unless you have a contact in the US it will be hard.

yeah i figured that, it's just that, it's so annoying when you want something and the money is there, but you cant do a thing unless you're in US

just asking, who knows some of you know top rated site like Amazon ( which happen to sell all kinds of the Dv6z laptop! but it just cant ship to Singapore as well!! )

Have you tried looking for a US proxy shipping??

From what I heard, what they do is to give a US shipping Address where they receive it, and then reship it internationally.

You can consider Falco's option. For example I've bought my Pavilion DM4 through Bonvu.com. There are several forwarding services like these...
You will also need a US credit card with HP; if you don't have one, the product can be bought for you as well (depending on the service you use).
The extra shipping time will only be 2 or 3 days. But of course you have to deal with:
    - extra costs (service costs, extra shipping costs, import taxes, exchange rates)
    - warranty and how to use it should you ever need it
    - different power plug (don't know about Singapore), but you can easily use a different power cable.

So the question is: is that worth it for you? If so, it's definitely possible. :)
