    How to Update CCC to 11.6?

    Hello,
    I am currently on software version 11.5b hotfix (which I installed right over the top of the stock drivers) and I was wondering how to update the catalyst control center to version 11.6. The reason I want to update is that Red Faction Armageddon is having some issues playing in DX10/11 mode and I was hoping this update would fix those issues.

    I tried to just click the update button in the CCC application itself, and it appeared to install 11.6, but when I rebooted and checked the version of the CCC, it was still on 11.5b. Do I have to uninstall anything before I update? What exactly is the correct procedure to update graphics drivers on the switchable graphics laptops?
