I cleaned and reinstalled Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 (don't use HP Recovery). So I don't have the HP Recommended Power Plan. I want to add it into my OS or learn to create a new Power Plan like it. Please help me. Thanks very much !

Go to Control Panel and then to Power Options. On the left side bar, click "Create a Power Plan". You can name it HP Recommended. You can't restore the default HP Recommended Plan as you are using a clean install of Vista.

I want to create a new Power Plan in which my Color Scheme is Vista Basic on Battery mode and Aero in Plugin mode. Can you tell me the way to do it? Thanks very much !

I haven't found a way to create a power plan like that after tinkering with it for about half an hour but there is a small program which can do this. This program is Vista Battery Saver. If you set the settings properly, Windows Aero will be disabled as soon as you unplug your laptop from the AC power, or if you switch your laptop on using the battery.
