My dv6700t is not now one year old. Unforturnately, I couldnt extend its warranty. So, now I want to take care of it so keeps running smoothly. I think a cleanup of its fan and keyboard is due. Is there anything else other than these that I do to keep its running solid. and Is there any guide as to how to clean up the dust and perform other maintenance on the machine?

    - Use a can of compressed air to dislodge caked dust from the fan grille and fan blades, then put a vacuum cleaner right up to the grille to draw out the dislodged dust and other debris.

    - For the screen and keyboard, use a moist (not wet!) microfiber cloth to wipe away dust and smudges. I would not recommend using chemicals, even if they are meant for LCD screens.
