My dv4000 has just formed a crack on the left palm rest, above the left side of the PC card slot. I don't want it to get any worse, so how might I go about fixing it? Is there a guide on the internet on how to disassemble a dv4000 so I can fix it from inside?
    Thanks

Here is a manual for the dv4000 and the v4000. Hope this helps a little bit.

After looking at it, it looks scary just to open up my notebook to fix a small crack. I'll look at it again and see if I can do it or not. Thanks for the guide.
