O.K this is gonna sound strange but I want to get my computer to run hot. I have done the copper shim mod with some ventilation mods, so it is running like a champ. So far I have tried to get the temps to go up by running movies, downloading torrents and using other programs all at once. As of now I know it's not reaching anywhere near full load and the CPUs are going up to 45 to 47c and the GPU is topping out around 54c. Is there a program or service that will put a large load on the system to get the load up? I want to find out how effective the mods are.

Run prime95 and furmark at the same time.
Prime95 will take the CPU up to 100% and furmark will take the GPU up to 100%.

Well the mods must be quite effective, stayed mid 50s to low 60s with one brief spike to 65c. For all the problems folks have had with these notebooks HP could and should have addressed this overheating problem from the get go. I got mine for free so I can't complain much.

Running both of them at the same time for over twenty minutes?
