    Hey,

So I downloaded sp38266.exe from which says it is version 6.30 J of the QLB driver. Double clicked to install and everything seemed to be fine. System asked to reboot so I let it. Looking in device manager, the driver version is still an old 4.5. Should it not be 6.30 now?

Next I tried installing the driver manually by browsing to that directory from the update driver context menu in device manager. The system can't find the 6.30 J driver because there is no .inf file in the sp38266.exe extracted directory.

Any ideas? Anyone install this? I though it might help will all the problems people have with QLB. Currently, my volume button lights are out, but everything actually works. Maybe I should leave well enough alone!

Go to HP.com, drivers and support, type the reference of your notebook, pick your current OS, select the driver and run it or download it to a folder in your laptop, restart and you are done, it must now recognize the new driver.

Edit: You must run and install it lol. And second, do you have the Quick Play software? If you not, thats why it doesn't load it...

    Never hurts to ask lol

Umm...yes. As I said, I downloaded the driver and installed it, followed by a restart. The driver is not updated. Was that some how unclear?
