I need to return a HP dv2700 that arrived a week ago. I have installed some programs and deleted a lot of the bloatwares on the hard drive. How do I restore it to its factory setting with all the bloatwares back on the hd? I did burn the recovery disc.

You put the recovery disk in, reboot and press at ESC/F8 at the boot screen and select CD-ROM

Yeah that or use the built-in recovery partition by pressing F11 on boot up.
