Hi, I recently reformatted my computer and I remember there was an icon in the tray that allowed you to turn off either wifi or bluetooth, however I cannot seem to find the driver to do this. Also, does anyone know what driver is needed to bring back the fn + esc function that allows you to see the BIOS version and other information? Thanks!

are you talking about the envy 14?

you need the hp wireless assistant.

it'll either be in your swsetup folder you should have saved or over here: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48501-49000/sp48832.exe

now if your computer was from before late 2009 (say first run envy 15 or 13 I think, some HDX stuff, etc) you need this version instead: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp49001-49500/sp49018.exe

as for the fn+esc stuff: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp51501-52000/sp51650.exe

think this also makes FN+B work again too if you liked the whole beats audio "let's just up your bass and treble to maximum" stuff.

Yeah, you need special application for that. For Sony it is Smart Wii or Smart WI-FI (Europe) for example
