    Im new in laptop field... I have got HP Pavilion dv6516tx notebook....
    Can anyone clear my doubts?

    1. How to use finger print?
    2.Wat's th use of HDMI and firewire ports?

    Here it is in simple terms.

    1. Figure it out. It's not too hard.
    2. HDMI is a port used to connect to your HDTV. Firewire is something similar to USB, ususally used in video camcorders or external hard drives.
    3. I'm assuming you're talking about the Expresscard. It replaced the PCMCIA...

    All your questions can be answered by going to Wikipedia and looking up the words, "HDMI", "Expresscard", "Firewire",

    ill assume for the expansion slot u are talking about the expansion port 2/3, which is for the hp docking station xb2000 and xb3000
