I know the dv6tse has a low resolution, but what do you owners of the dv6t or dv6tse think of the screen? Are the colors okay? Do you find it grainy or faded-looking?

About the touchpad: When I tested this laptop in stores, the touchpad always seemed a little jumpy to me. Maybe I was just using it wrong. What do you dv6t owners think of the touchpad?

I'm very strongly considering this laptop, so any help is greatly appreciated. ;)

The screen is fine, nothing special about it I would say. No problems, but nothing jumping out at you.

The screen isn't that great out of the box. You may need to calibrate it, depending on how picky you are, but after you do that it's fine for most.

The touchpad is fine for some, and a nightmare for others. You won't know which side you're on until you use it.

Well, see, my issue with the touchpad is that some in stores have easy-to-press buttons and others, it seems like I really have to force them down. I use the touchpad a lot unfortunately. This laptop has everything I want, but I'm almost considering not getting it just because of the touchpad. :(

I configured touchpad hotzone to act as buttons -- doubletap to hold and click. Maybe that would be acceptable? Also a matter of getting used to it.

Oh God no, I can't stand "tap to click"; I disable that as soon as possible...haha

I'm probably still going to get the laptop, I'm sure it'll take some getting used to, though.
