    I ordered a DV1000 on Sept.28. It shipped out on 10/4 and I received it on 10/8.

    Ordered 10/10/04, with an estimated ship date of 10/22/04.

    Item actually shipped today, 10/15/04, with an estimated delivery date of 10/20/04.

    It looks like they're starting to catch up. [ :D]

    I ordered a Compaq V2000, same basic machine on 10/10. It shipped today and estimated to arrive 10/20. Original ship date was to be 10/22.
